Measure and record battery voltage

• Record the battery number and the measured battery voltage.

Acceptable range: VMeasured > 49.6

Align the battery to the white line

Secure the velcro straps

Wiggle-test the battery

The battery should not move once strapped in.

Tape down the battery cover with flight tape

Turn on the Remote ID module

Flip the red switch on the Remote ID module to power it on.

Confirm airspeed sensor data in MissionPlanner

Blow on the airspeed sensor and verify the reading is reflected in MissionPlanner.

Verify the VTOL motor does not budge

Grab the VTOL motor with your palm and lightly try shifting it.

Measure rear motor temperature

Acceptable range: TBD

Inspect propellers for cracks or cuts

Inspect the servo and rod for secure attachment

Manually move the rudder to confirm servo engagement

Run the same-direction rudder test

Flip the red button toward the pilot to enter airplane mode, then use the left joystick so both rudders move in the same direction.

• Repeat the motion 10x.
• Observe rudder smoothness and speed on every pass.

Listen for unusual sounds during the same-direction test

Run the opposite-direction rudder test

Use the right joystick so the rudders move in opposite directions.

• Repeat the motion 10x.
• Observe rudder smoothness and speed on every pass.

Listen for unusual sounds during the opposite-direction test

Record satellites number and HTOP number

Write down Satellites Number and HTOP Number.

Place the drone in the center of the launch pad
